Northenden’s forgotten pioneer was rembembered during a week’s celebration of his life in Manchester when we hosted a one act play,  performed by local school children and  historian Geoff Scargill of the ‘Watkin Society’.

The play highlighted one of many of Edward Watkin’s amazing visions which he delivered during his lifetime.

Great Success!

Barry and Melanie Davy opened their garden on 14th & 15th May and once again, which drew in the public.

Thank you to all the team who helped run the tea rooms, the behind the scenes bakers who were busily baking away for hours on end, and finally thank you to Barry & Melanie for invited us to support this event again.

The ‘STAGE LEFT’ event of inspiring music & poetry, performed by Claire Mooney, Dave Pullar & Alex Keenan proved to be a very popular night with the enthusatic  audience enjoying the evenings entertainment.
